Family Neurodivergence Caregivers Group

A warm, evidence-based lunch-time community in the heart of Central, Hong Kong for caregivers raising neurodivergent children, managing demanding careers, away from their core support networks, often managing their own symptoms alongside their children.

The working professional caregiver

You lead teams, manage deadlines, and navigate boardrooms. And then you come home and hold a neurodivergent child through their day. This group understands both halves of who you are and what you hold. So often, a neurodivergent child has a neurodivergent parent. This group holds space for both. Your experience is not separate from your parenting. It is part of it, and it is welcome here. Corporate culture seldom allows for authentic conversations with peers and colleagues at work, and our busy weekend schedules leaves little room for heartfelt conversations with other parents and friends. This weekly lunch hour becomes one of the only windows of the week that can become truly your own. This group, allows you to feel heard, held, and supported.

How each session works

Each session has four parts, a compressed rhythm that respects the lunch hour while preserving the warmth of the work.
10 minutes: Arrival and sharing. A gentle check in. Each parent shares one challenge and one win from the week. Nothing rushed. Nothing fixed. Just witnessed.
20 minutes: Psychoeducation for caregivers. Understanding ADHD in the adult nervous system, the mechanisms at work in us under sustained cognitive load. Research-backed and accessible. Each session closes with one evidence-based intervention to practise through the week.
20 minutes: Psychoeducation for our children. One parenting intervention guided by science. Parents leave with a ready-to-use script designed to slot into the real rhythm of evenings and weekends.
10 minutes: Closing and accountability. A soft landing. A debrief of what resonated. A commitment to carry into the coming week.
Homework is never an obligation. It is an invitation to try something small, with grace for all that may get in the way.

Kind words from our community

"Lisel's presentation to our parent community was unlike anything before. Her knowledge of the pillars of wellbeing and her ability to link the importance of sleep nutrition, movement and play to support wellbeing of our preschoolers and in turn, support their behaviour was eye-opening. Backed by science, these workshops were easy to follow, interactive and thought provoking.  We look forward to an ongoing relationship."
Vickie, Kindergarden Principal
"Lisel has conducted a series of workshops for our members and VIP clients. She has an ability to simplify scientific knowledge into easy to implement strategies. Her vauable advice and warm interaction led to interactive sessions. Our clients found the sessions very useful.  I highly recommend Lisel"
Elaine, Playroom Owner
"We reached out to Lisel when my near tween's behaviour began affecting the harmony of our home. Lisel was empathic, she spent time understanding our challenges and provided us practical actions to support my helper and me navigate this challenging time. She offered us detailed notes and scripts that were easy to follow and we noticed changes in our interactions in a short period. We are very grateful and highly recommend Lisel for parent consultations to support you as parent or equally, helper coaching to empower them care for your children."
